Description	David Roberts was an artist born in Stockbridge. In early age, he shows a distinct talent. In the age of 10, he was appointed as a house painter. He worked as a house painted approximately seven years. In the age of 20, he joined a troupe of traveling pantomimists and there he started his work as a theatrical backdrop painter.
