Who is behind artonweb.edublogs.org and what is the story behind how it began? My name is Yiannis and I’m the founder of Art On Web. I started this website after realizing just how hard and competitive finding a job had become. This realization came when I failed to find a summer job after many job interviews and no job offers. I knew that if I wanted to take control of my future, I would have to stop relying on others to offer me a job and I’d have to come up with a strategy to make my online business successful. Starting an online business meant that I would be creating job security for myself as well as providing myself with an additional source of income. When I first started this website, I was a novice. I was clueless about what to do when it came to making money online. I barely knew WordPress and I was pretty clueless on every other aspect of starting an online business. I started this website because I wanted to keep a record of everything I was learning and doing in the process of starting an online business. My goal with this website is to share the strategies that have helped me build an online business so that you can do the same.
