Description	Diabetes is a condition in which the body is unable to provide enough insulin for cells to function. The lack of insulin secretion causes excess sugar production in the body. This means your body has way too much glucose than required, and it can be harmful to the functioning of the nervous system, eyes, heart, kidney, blood vessels. Diabetes is identified as one of the most common diseases in the world. While in some cases, it is hereditary, but in most cases, caused due to stress & habits of today's life. Ayurveda identifies three basic types of functional principles present in the form of doshas -Vata, Pitta, and Kapha. Imbalance in these principles leads to diseases.When the sugar level gets high in the bloodstream, its presence can also be found in urine. That's the reason why diabetes is referred to as Madhumeha in Ayurveda, where Madhu means honey and meha means to urinate. An imbalance of three doshas causes diabetes; it is categorized as Vataj Meha - a condition due to Vata's aggravation.Common Signs of Diabetes are mentioned below:- Frequent Urination Excessive hunger pangs Increased Thirst Extreme fatigue Rapid weight loss Weak eyesight Ayurvedic management promotes lifestyle & dietary changes and medication to manage diabetes and lead a healthy life. First and foremost, it is vital to change your relationship with food. Avoiding the excessive intake of triglycerides, healthy weight management is the key. Moreover, the anti-diabetes powder should be used to cure the problem as well.
