Description	This book looks at the changing image of the Indian Patriot's war for India's Independence and its reflection, which were shown during the Cold War period on the screens of commercial British films and TV. By using a variety of primary and secondary sources, as demonstrated by utilizing Gramsci's theory of Common Sense/Folklore, the author traces the evolution of the Indian Patriot from a villain to a saint, and the British Colonials from kind to mediocre and even evil personalities.
