Description	Aortic stenosis is a condition that is mostly caused by a build-up of calcium in the leaflets of the aortic valve. Over time, these leaflets narrow and can lead to other changes in the heart as well as reducing the cardiac output, leading to symptoms. If diagnosed with severe aortic stenosis, the diseased valve may need to be replaced.
