Description	Bunya Mountains are an isolated section of the Great Dividing Range. They rise abruptly from the surrounding plains to an average elevation of 975m reaching over 1100 metres at Mts. Mowbullan and Kiangarow. The closest large towns of Dalby – Kingaroy and Nanango are all approx. 60km from the Bunya Mountains in different directions.
